On November 23, the IBKO Kyokushin World Cup took place at the National Olympic Center in Tokyo - Yoyogi with the participation of 857 competitors from ten countries. The largest foreign teams were: Kazakhstan - 42 competitors and Poland - 31 competitors. 36th EUROPEAN KYOKUSHIN CHAMPIONSHIPS YEREVAN, ARMENIA 26-27 OCTOBER 2024 The 36th European Kyokushin Championships were held on 26-27 October 2024 at the Municipal Arena in Yerevan, Armenia. The 1st Asian Kyokushin Championship 2024 in Riyadh, Saudi ArabiaFrom August 22 to 24, Shihan Antonio Piñero attended The 1st Asian Kyokushin Championship 2024 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. A remarkable 14 countries participated, with numerous participants competing in the kata and Kumite disciplines. The participants showcased their skills, and in the country standings, Kazakhstan claimed the top spot, Iraq in Second and Islamic Republic of Iran Third.The Ambassador of Kazakhstan also attended the tournament. From 25 to 28 of July 2024 the International Summer Camp was held in Benasque (Huesca-Spain).220 participants of the different dojos and countries attend the camp, which was directed by shihan Antonio Piñero, President of KWF.The camp covered all aspects of kyokushin: kihon, katas, kumite and self defense and even there were especial trainings for the fighting competition team and for the candidates for the grading.Many shihans and senseis were directing the classes.The atmosphere in the camp was incredible and all students enjoyed the experience. On June 1, 2024, the 51st Polish Kyokushin Championships for seniors and juniors took place at the "Solne Miasto" Sports Hall in Wieliczka, with the participation of 214 players representing 63 sports clubs. The ceremonial opening was performed by: the Mayor of Wieliczka, the President of the Polish Karate Association, Maciej Sokołowski, and the Vice-President, Andrzej Drewniak. From May 18 to 20, 2024, the KWF FRANCE Spring Camp took place in the magnificent Dojo in the city of Wasquehal. Around fifty participants took pleasure in sharing the different workshops led by this year's 2 guests: Shihan Tommaso Schirinzi and the 2023 KWF french World Champion Thierry Nebleza and the French staff (Sensei Christophe LAIGLE, Matthieu MORELLE, Charley QUINOL ) directed by Shihan Jérôme de Timmerman.
